The Little Elf

I met a little Elfman once,

"I'm just as big for me," said he,

The Competition
This is a competition for a male child elf that you create. It's going to concentrate mainly on in-game scene creation and photo skills with a bit of an emphasis on the story you come up with to go with it. The only photo editing that will be allowed are borders and text. Keep it tasteful. Remember, this competition is about creating beautiful and vibrant images to illustrate an entry about your elf using the game as a tool. The only limitation you have is your own imagination. Good luck!
To be completely clear: If you can't photo edit or can't photo edit well, don't. It's better to have no photo editing then bad photo editing. If your image contains photo editing it will be judged on it's photo editing under the photography element. If the text or your border interferes with or unbalances your image you will be marked down for it. If your image contains no photo editing you will be judged solely on the merits of the picture itself and will not be judged on the lack of photo editing at all.

As I'm sure some of you already know via wikipedia, esoteric knowledge can be many things, but especially "special" knowledge only known to a select few, the initiated. Your elf is getting ready to be initiated and learn about the special abilities and ways of his kind. He's about to learn how to cast his very first spell. What a spell is, what it does, and how it's cast is entirely up to you. The ability doesn't matter, only that your elf learns it while we watch his successes or, perhaps, his failures. You can have him remember back to his first spell if he's an older elf or have him pick up a new one, or learn how to do magic for the first time, it's all up to you, and your elf. One elf will be eliminated. Next up will be the final round, so make this one count!

Each element will be scored out of five. The average of an element for all the pictures will be used for the final score.
Each picture will be scored on:
The Scene: How realistic or well put together is the scene? Pay attention to the background for this one, details are important. The Pose: Is the child vibrant and full of life, or staring straight ahead like a zombie? Is the way the child was captured creative? The Photography: How well is the image framed? What is its focus? Are we up close and eye level or are we floating somewhere off above their head?The overall entry will be scored on:
The Story: Does the story match the images? Does it seem to flow well? Are there any spelling or grammatical errors? The Instructions: Does this entry meet all of the round requirements and follow the rules layed out at the beginning of the competition?Total: 25 Points
Hints & Tips
I understand bad graphics cards, but I want you to try your best to get the best shot possible. I would like it if everywhere went into their game and, if they are able, under Options clicked on Camera Options and set their Picture Size to Large and their Picture Quality to High. That's all I ask.
